As shared in my previous post, we are in the move to find our OTD Coordinator and has setup preliminary meetings to personally discuss their services. Last Friday, after office, we met Abby of Kiss the Girl Events at Glorietta 4. Since this is our first ever supplier meeting, it was a bit awkward at first and we don't know how to start the ball rolling.
It was Abby who started asking questions and soon after, we were already comfortable to shoot our own q's. Even Adrin actively participated in the conversation asking about their most challenging event and the like (feels like a company interview. haha.). She was really nice and pleasant to talk to. We talked about their experiences in their past events and she shared personal tips to us since she herself recently got married as well. They (her and 2 other colleagues) started KTG Events mid-2011 and so far all has been well for them. Since she is also from the south like me, she recommended suppliers who are also from the area.
After all wedding related talks, Adrin and I discussed internally our decision while Abby was on the phone. We decided to forgo the meeting with another OTD supplier and book KTG Events right at that moment. Abby was glad that we booked their services and was even a bit excited since we are their first 2014 wedding! Since she mentioned that we still have a long way to go, the only immediate things that we need to take care of now is our church and venue reservations. Next steps will come as we get nearer to our big day. :)
